Society Membership.

The Huddersfield and District Family History Society is open to anyone with an interest in finding out about their ancestors, whether you live within the above area or not. Postal members are always welcome.
Members are entitled to admission to meetings (10 each year with speakers on a variety of topics) and participation in the Societies activities. Each member also receives 4 issues per year of the Society's journal.

 

Membership cost's are;-
Individual Membership  £ 10.00 per year.
Family Membership  £12.00 per year.
Overseas (Airmail)  £12.00 per year.

Membership runs from 1st August to 31st July.
Anyone joining part way through the year, receives all the journals for that year.

The benefits of being a member of the society are many.

A full programme of talks is arranged for each second Tuesday in the month, from September to June, with occasional workshop evenings and visits.
Please follow the link to the programme page for planned meetings and venues.

All members are encouraged to submit their current research interests, which are then published in the Journal, thus allowing other members with similar interests to correspond.
Members' interests will also shortly be available on the members only part of the website.

To submit your research interests please complete the members' Interests form.
Click on the link to open the document and type directly onto the form in the shaded areas.

Once completed, the form can be saved to your own computer and emailed as an attachment to the email, to
Membership.
Alternatively once completed, the form can be printed off and posted to our members interests secretary.

On some computers it may not be possible to save the completed form, in this case the completed form should be printed off and posted to our members interests secretary.
