Getting to us by BUS – Take the 324 or 325 from Huddersfield Bus Station and get off the bus in the centre of Meltham, just after the post office, next to the chemist. Use St Bartholomew’s Church as a landmark and walk down Greens End Road with the church on your right. Turn left immediately before the hair and beauty salon, up towards Greens End Garage. The Root Cellar will be on your right. The photograph above is looking in the opposite direction, so the Root Cellar is on the left, and you can see how close it is to the church.

Coming by CAR – There is on-street parking on Greens End Road. If there are no spaces there or nearby, there is a large, free car park behind Meltham Post Office on Huddersfield Road. It is about a five minute walk from the car park to the Root Cellar, see the guidance under arriving by bus.
