This picture, probably taken around the time of WW11, has recently been circulated around Huddersfield. Any clues to the location, the event or who might be seen in the picture will be welcomed.

Janet has suggested that the location could be Cambridge Road Baths in Huddersfield. The picture below (from Kirklees image archive) supports this idea, check the ornamental light columns.

So, that is the location, still no clue as to the event.
